  • J.D. Foster is a phenomenal drummer!!! I had the pleasure of seeing him just a couple of days ago. This video was taken in 2007, and he has improved significantly since. He left me absolutely dumbfounded. If you're ever in Santa Monica I recommend taking a few minutes to check this guy out!

  • That poor white guy has the worst sounding drums and cymbals--but he can play really well... maybe if enough people put money in the bucket, he can buy himself a better set and some decent cymbals.

  • The guy on the left is J.D. Foster. He marched quads with me in Dutch Boy back in 1992. Good stuff!

  • THE BEST drum battle i've ever seen. John foster's a nice guy two. he let me play on his set. (search Dirk Ellis: crappy drumset, amazing drummer)

  • @decentdrummer911 I see that you're a decent drummer, hence your user name. I'm assuming you've grown up some since making this comment, seeing as your video description says "dont say things like YOU SUCK", cause that would be very hypocritical. BTW, if you want a better visual to see how talented the guy on the left is, search "dirk ellis: crappy drumset, amazing drummer"

talent is good, but without respect you have nothing.

    cheers bro.

  • Even though the red kit is a 'travel size' kit you would think that there would be some decent symbols. The red kit doesnt compare to the brown. Fascinating to see two different styles on different drums and then have them switch, each brings out a different quality in the others kit :)

  • @jplanta95

    They're called Piccolo toms
