A new governement works programme in Hungary will see thousands of people forced to carry out manual labour or face losing their unemployment benefits. In the village of village of Gyongyospata, whose mayor belongs to the far-right Jobbik party, some of the local Roma have begun working in nearby fields.Duration:02:13
This is a fantastic idea! Should be adopted in all of our countries. No more free welfare that encourages people to not seek work indefinitely because money will continually roll in for free. This is a great way to encourage them to find better jobs or create their own. Kudos to Hungary on this law.

This is absolutely the way it should be in the USA. I am sick of paying taxes to support a bunch of worthless freeloaders who's only purpose is to occupy a couch and watch TV. Have them pickup trash along the roads, clean up roadkill or do whatever else needs doing. If they won't work then they don't eat.

@A1R5N1P3R I made a video about this. I actually might favor a lightly regulated free market more than forced labor for government benefits, but in any case, I'm definitely against people doing nothing their whole lives and getting paid for it. And if we can't get rid of the idea of welfare, at least we can add in some forced labor to balance it out.

Their country needs labor, unemployed need work (duh), this is an excellent solution.
