What a quality feel good foot tapping song this is. But there again it is from the best era in music the 80's. What has happened to music now a days its all about drugs guns gangster ego or size 0 skinny dumb blondes trying to sing a remake of an 80's song. 1984 and 85 were great years in music i was in my late teens and was loving it at Oscars of Clacton Tartan House and the Colchester Windmill. Good times great music and less stress and trouble in the world. Thanks for posting this.

I played this track at a 40th birthday recently, the place went mad and most of the people there knew the words. Happy days. Summer 84. Phil Fearon made some seriously happy tunes - and they sound great 20 odd years later.

phils sister used to live on the next rd to me in willesden,nw london - me and brother were around 9 and 11 and we used to wash cars,he turned up in his black e-type jag one day.We asked him did he want his car washed he said yeah but only the wire wheels!!! we used to charge £2 but he said he would give us a fiver!!! we thought we had won the lottery!!! he gave us signed records as well. such a sound fella always laughing and joking - a genuine mr nice guy!!! great song too - bring back the 80s

I went to Phils house a few years back, totally random. Bought a load of records after chatting to his daughter on ebay. I didnt even know him as a pop star but as the bloke who owned the record label and had a load of old stock in his garage..

Have to say he was a really nice bloke, had a chat with him and he was so normal, i'd never of known hed been a popstar.

Was just a 3 bed semi on a normal estate in North London.
