  • Can anyone explain to me what the lyrics mean?

  • I sometimes wonder if "Runeii" has some distant connection to "Renee" which I know Mark was particularly fond of. An even more obvious question would be how distantly connected "Myrrhman" is to "Mirrorman", a song they would often use a part of as an intro to "Does Caroline Know?" in concert.

Just a thought for TT freaks.

(I love Talk Talk but Laughing Stock isn't my kind of thing as much as I appreciate what they were trying to do when they recorded it.)

  • @tsexauer1 Peter Gabriel can suck my fat one

  • This album changed my life.

  • @andyhsleeds Yeah, it's not to say that the music is sleep-inducing, but it is just comforting to the soul. Love that album!

  • @KoenHead i do the same if i cant get sleep at night i llisten to this beautiful album to make me relaxed a softly fall to a sleep.

  • Like most everyone else here, I love the final Talk Talk albums to an immense degree. I would listen to "Spirit Of Eden" and "Laughing Stock" with the lights out as I would go to bed many moons ago. I just love how sublime and dark this song in particular sounded as I was drifting off to sleep.

  • got all the albums.this is the best.touches, leaves you, comes again.sounds.lights.
