This is wonderful! Not just the recipe, but the fact that everyone from so many cultures have joined in. And that's the whole point! :> Every country and culture has it's version from the same recipe idea. Hey, let's not argue over recipe territory, let's all make, share, eat and enjoy (food tastes better when you share it) !

Actually it is the most tradtional dish of the Jewish culture in Channuka. in Israel they're called Sufganyah סופגניה. Most Israelis are sure it's a Jewish dish, and that other people don't have it. Cool to see this.

actually those Krapfen are called "Berliner Pfannkuchen" (berlin pancakes), but they are called differently in the western ("Gräbbel", "Puffel"), eastern ("Pfannkuchen"), southern ("Krapfen"), northern ("Berliner") parts of Germany.... :)
But if you say Krapfen or Berliner, everyone knows what it is :)
lol.. you stole a thing called Bombolone and you call it Krapfen.. lmao

i am from Austria, and you have to try those with vanillia filling. Not traditional, but still good!
