On Jun 8, 2011, U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), Ranking Member of the Senate Finance Committee, slammed the Obama Administration's agenda of more regulation, more taxes, and more debt, saying the White House's response to the current economic downturn has, "either not worked or made things worse for our small businesses, middle class families and job creators."

Senator Hatch was joined by U.S. Senators Rob Portman (R-Ohio), John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) as well as economic experts Douglas Holtz-Eakin, President of the American Action Forum and William Kovacs with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at an event earlier today examining the Administration's economic agenda and its impact on America's economic recovery.

  • That's what we need Orrin, and you're not getting any better after 36 years, so sit down

  • Pro Growth Mr. Hatch? Voted for Sarbanes and Oxley. Voted for the NDAA, effectively creating the first autocratic white house this nation has ever seen. Voted for the auto and bank bailouts, engaging in socialist collectivist activities-picking your winners and losers in the free marketplace. Hatch isn't for freedom. He practically WROTE the Patriot Act. Anti-freedom = anti-growth/anti-innovation

  • @BoxerFan02 he natonalizes them so the economy can grow. we need more people doing those jobs, more jobs means more money spreading, less inflation, and a more productive country. The republicans want money, and alot of it. why doesnt your GOD open your eyes, cant you see what they are doing? No taxing the rich, protecting oil companies and going to the point our nation has to negotiate with them and giving up what is good for the nation. Dueces and may the $hit wash out of your eyes

  • @MegaMayorca Sorry to burst your bubble, but Democrats don't care about people at ALL. They just like helping out the poor, etc so that said poor will keep voting them in office so they can continue living their cushy lives. Why do you think obama wants to nationalize all illegal aliens...so he can get their vote. Shalom and may G-d open your eyes.

  • Amen. Nobama has done Nothing but spend, spend, spend and play golf. GOP to the rescue.

  • Someone should of said this a hundred years ago and this should of never happened again

  • Let's not forget the stimulus was not a trillion dollars, but nearly 800 billion dollars. One third were tax cuts which the republicans demanded.

  • Free trade creates jobs overseas, not in America. This just gives businesses another way to get cheap labor. Let's all go back to the 1880s since this is what i just heard from Hatch.

  • Legilize drugs from marijuana to herion.... end proibition marijuana will bring in trillions in tax dollars and get america out of it 14 and a half trillion dollar debt

  • @Rubenv970 i see that u r a republican, a person that rides on the coattails of government officials or some dude brainwashed by the republican, pro-greed campaigns. It saddens me to see this happen.
