All of the fayth there hold the souls of the people of Zanarkand. Their collective aeon is Dream Zanarkand. Tidus is an aeon. It's all a big way to escape death.
i have a hard time hitting blitz ace any tips on where to hit X so i acually dont fail at it, ive only ever done it 2 times and idk how i got it right
I really wonder if anything like NSG can be done on FFXIII. It has level caps, no items, little customisation and is pretty lacking in side quests, so it looks like little is possible besides straight character-only runs... but even then, you get healed after every fight. Looks like Square went right after the hardcore. :P
Summoning both the city and Sin was a greater strain than Yu Yevon could handle; thus only his instincts to protect his beloved city remained and the spiral of death started. Jecht and Tidus, father and son, and citizens of the dream city, became real when they touched Sin and were brought to Spira to end the spiral of death that has ravaged it for 1,000 years.
He called on all the surviving people, turned them into Fayth and placed them on Mt. Gagazet, protected by a dense mist. From their memories he created Dream Zanarkand and set it far out at sea. To protect himself and his city while he summoned it, Yu Yevon amassed a great amount of pyreflies to form an armor around him; an armor called Sin. Thus, Sin was born, with its purpose to protect the Dream Zanarkand by any means possible.
A thousand years before the events in Final Fantasy X, a massive conflict, called the Machina War, broke out between the two rival cities of Zanarkand and Bevelle. Despite being a powerful machina city, Zanarkand relied on Summoners for warfare. Bevelles machina assured their victory and Zanarkand was doomed to destruction. Yu Yevon, not wanting Zanarkand to die forever, decided to preserve its memory.
...so when jecht went out to sea he came in contact with sin, and was transported to out to sea he found himself in spira. i think the fayth are on gagazet, as this is just before zanarkand... but obviously they can't dream forever and what not... i hope that helps
it takes a while to understand this part, the fayth at gagazet are summoning 'dream zanarkand' as they are the ones who were left after the machina war with Bevelle along with Yu Yevon who wanted to preserve his zanarkand. therefore everything is a dream, including tidus. it's possible that he's based of shuyin as shuyin is real and not a dream. apparently the 'dream zanarkand' encased by yu yevon is in spira somewhere near baaj temple,
