Am-------------------------------------------C
He woke up this morning an angry young man
--------G-------------------------------------- Am
By the end of the day he would have blood on his hands
Am--------------------------------------C
Went to bed last night with the master plan
G----------------Am
In his twisted mind
Am------------------------C
Known as a loner he didn't say much
G ------------------------------------------Am
Didn't have many friends he was out of touch
Am------------------------C
All the red flags were going up
G------------------Am
No one would respond
Am--------G
Oh oh oh
---------------F
Now there's blood on the school steps
--------Am
It's a national disease
Am------G
Oh oh oh
----------------F
Now there's blood on the school steps
---------Am
It's a national disease
Thirty two victims died that day
Well there's thirty two futures lie in a grave

Taken by an insect, a parasite
A rodent in the fields of dreams
What could fill someone with so much hate
That would make them want to leave the world this way
If you want to checkout well that's okay
Just be man enough to go alone

Chorus

I guess we learned nothing from columbine
I hope we get all the facts this time
If you know someone that's troubled
Say hey lets talk
Before this happens again

Glenn Carter Elliott: Guitar, vocals
Freddie Busshart: Lead guitar
Jimmy Boland: Drums, backing vocals

  • man i wish i could have tabs...if there not available thats cool.....JB

  • I added the chords in the info section if this will help any. As for the lead, Freddie would have to tab that as I don't have a clue. I write the songs on an acoustic, and then give them to the band and you never know what you will get back. Freddie's leads are always killer, I'll post a link to his youtube site as well.

    thanks

  • Well done Glenn, best sound quality on this video I've heard of yours so far. And, a sentiment widely shared.

People are in so much pain in this crazy world, and very few of us are ever taught useful ways of dealing with all that churns within us. To my/our great sorrow, people increasingly choose this way of dealing with it. How can we help?

  • Thanks, I've tried to copy this sound on some of my other videos, but just can't seem to get there. How can we help? I wish I knew.

    thanks

    glenn
