how bi xenon work as you see them from outside of the vehicle.

At first high beam with the low beam switched off

Then high beam with the low beam switched on

In the end, I close all the lights and I switch on the DRL lights.

  • what's that thud song?

  • @newcomer9747

"song"?? Maybe you mean the noise...

I am very close to the headlight and the enviroment around is very quiet. So the noise that you hear is the mechanism that moves something in the headlight.

See also the video with the title "Custom Lightz - Bixenon Projectors" (from youtube) so that you can see more cleary what i am describing you above

  • how did you can get flashing the light with xenon high beam? it's not suppose to be with the halogen bulb instead?

  • @chucrysle

The bi-xenon (as the same with the facelift A3 2009) have the same mechanism. The halogen light that you see next to the xenon, is used only for DRL. It is a lamp 21Watt, so it can't be used as high beam.

    (sorry for the delay)

  • yes.They are original.

    My car is 100% stock.

  • @gkagouras haha i meant sound. i tend to commit silly typos like these.

  • hum, ok, I understand but there is 2 lamps in the reflector: one that is turned on in 0:12 seconds on the edge of the reflector and other in 0:29 seconds in the center of the reflector, there is 2 buttons to turn them on?

  • @chucrysle Bixenon projectors use a blinder that is moved out of the way when you switch to high beams, thus getting rid of the cut off line and casting light much further and higher.

  • cnock, cnock, cnock, is geo metro? haha

  • hi...

    are there original?

    6000°K??.....
