I saw him live in Austin a few times... once in the Paramount Theatre, before he got much nationwide acclaim, but it was practically like the Beatles or U2. The place went absolutely nuts. Not an empty seat, and rarely was anyone sitting. A monster talent.

Cant compare them.... Johnson has tone and feel.... JS has a shiny Guitar and fast fingers... Not much else.
