  • One of the greatest minds and hearts.

  • "That's why I want you." God calls to the weak and the "hopeless cases" who, at their wits end, invoke a "higher power" the transformations that occur in people are proof that God still works in every age, and in this age of relativistic humanism where God is being pushed out. The world still needs Fulton Sheen more than ever!

  • Good teaching from the Archbishop.

  • @paxcoder

Well, the way I read it, he was saying that they are real beings, which take up a real presence within people, and can have real effects, but we only see those effects on the bodies of the people around us. He's also saying that even in instances of the worst temptation, compulsion, etc, that the person still has some measure of free will, if they just know how to use it to liberate themselves.

  • I'm sorry, but did he now say that demons are really not supernatural beings (fallen angels)? "My name is Legion" is from the Bible, and from the person that said this, Jesus cast out like 7 devils, if I remember correctly. But as far as I can see, Fulton Sheen rationalizes it so it appears it's not really possession. Am I right about this or would someone care to prove me wrong? Because our faith teaches evil spirits are real beings.

  • Servant of God Archbishop Sheen, pray for us!

Servus Dei Archiepiscopus Fulton Sheen, ora pro nobis!

  • Excellent video!!

St. Bishop Fulton Sheen is an excellent example for us, to explain others deep realities of Life, God, by means of simple things of daily life.

  • When he started changing numbers for the agent, I could tell where he was going...LOL! He is brilliant. I love watching his lessons.

  • My dad used to watch this with me. Now that I am old enough to understand it, I admire his way of describing catholic doctrines, he is able to relate to you. Truly a great priest to catholics and protestants alike.
