1-i dont give a shit what other countries think of me, they can enjoy their shithole. What the world takes for granted is that the US does more for international & humanitarian aid, in any context, than any other continent.

2-the goal of any government system is to satisfy the people, and democracy does this the best by not alienating the people by imposing any ideologies on them. Are the people really satisfied in China? Only time will tell.

Another thing, if you are american. and if you ask people around the world whether they like you, the answer is NO. if you go to Thailand and say you are from US, they will treat u like shit. If you ask why that happens, please ask your government.

Democracy means whether most people like the government. I think most of the people are ok with the government because GDP increases like 11% each year. so, what else you are expecting? U become richer and richer and no matter 1 party system or multi party system. The important part is to make people satisfy.

"Democracy" is not about being elected, but getting the policies, the ones that the people want, actually get put into effect. Thats not artificially pacifying the people, thats how a government should work; at least its better than having a government tell its people what they want whether they like it or not- thats fascism and the PRC should admit to it
