@errationalrichard Absolutely. There are lots of techniques like "Push/Pull" and the "release" that can ease the tension of a compliment or showing too much interest. One of the easiest and oldest examples is: "I love that about you... too bad you're such a dork!" Of course, use these playfully and only in the early stages of the interaction.

I love this stuff. I actually found out what I did was wrong with a girl when I read Magic Bullets. I had build attraction and comfort. She was in to me, but I had shown to early too much interest. Another natural (and AMOG) told her that I liked her and my text message confirmed it.
