  • lol eh i suppose. but my god i felt this extreme euporia when they started to play this song and in general, i was so excited to see them and when they finally started to play it was amazing. at some point i almost shed a tear, it was that amazing and thats how awesome i felt inside. i hope they come back in the future!!! pleasee!!

  • they may! kevin has alluded to the idea that mbv is back as a functioning band, and this just isn't a one-off reunion to make money or somethin'. i hope that's the case.

  • Wow. What a great first concert you experienced. It was incredible, wasn't it? It was completely overwhelming. The only thing bad about MBV being your first concert is every other concert you go to in the next few years will seem quiet and boring in comparison. :)

    Thanks for uploading!

  • Been to the Aragon countless times and yes, the acoustics suck, but for the type of music MBV plays with all the warping distortion it probably was perfectly suited.

I question their use of intense volume playing live. Might sound cool for legendary prose but my ears are too valuable for idiots to play with.

  • i felt the same.. i mean it was a great show, but definitely a disappointment. i blame it solely on the acoustics at the aragon though.. the sound sucked so bad. the music was so muddled.

  • I was at this show, and remember waiting for months for it .... I've been a fan for as long as I can remember, but this was one of the worst concert experiences i've ever had.... and u have no idea how much it pains me to say that! Not sure if it was the buzzkill company I took, or the ridiculous volume of the show that blew it for me. But i'm still glad I went, just to experience it. Still one of the best bands of all time.

  • I feel bad that only remember about half the show...I was just so fuckin amazed that MBV was live on stage right in front of me. Best show ever, and I would see it a thousand times.

  • oh yes please!!!!!! i really hope this is true and if they come back to chicago they should play in a venuw with better acoustics, play even louder (not that it wasnt loud enough :]), and do like a 2 nighter, cause alot of other cities on the tour got 2 nights.

  • i felt like it was Arthur C Clarkes 'Childhood's End'.....embryonic..symphonic..soothing...Brilliant...did an incredible show in Toronto

  • agreed. i saw them in sf tonight and they were equal parts messiah and horsemen of the apocalypse. incredible.

  • I think we can officially establish that an MBV concert is like Mecca for a Muslim; spiritual, intense, enveloping.
