I spoke to Rick some time back about guitars. He mentioned owning a prototype or early release of the Gibson Explorer edition. He didn't want to take it on the road so had luthier Charlie Lobue build a model for him. He mentioned selling the Explorer to a fellow who later sold the guitar for something near $250,000. Rick is a great guy with a fantastic memory about his past instruments.
