Mark's Trip to the U.K., Top of the William Wallace Monument

Mark's Trip to the U.K. We visited the William Wallace monument in Stirling, Scotland while we were on vacation in May of 2007.

William Wallace was portrayed by Mel Gibson in the movie Braveheart, which is a glorified account of his story for sure... but the monument is amazing in every way. For one thing it is friggin' huge. They even sell the DVD there.

It was too windy to be comfortable in that thing, what a sight though. After we enjoyed a Scotch whisky and beer.

Does William Wallace is real historical scotish hero?

I supposed he does. All scotish has right to be very proud on him.

Macedonia plays football match this weekend with Scotland. It was wonderfull to se so many scotish in Skopje in their national clouths kilts, bagpipes, hats etc.

They beautify our city with their atitude, clothes, look, proud.. thanks and bravo.

I hope that i would have chance to visit Scotland some day.

my mothers maiden name is wallce and am not fully grown and im 5 feet 8 im suposed to be 7 feet tall im american but with scotish forefathers
