My review of ManyCam which is much better than super webcam!

Well, as some viewers who have been with me before I was really serious about live streaming (maybe one or two) know my computer hates virtual web cams. I was addicted to Super Webcam (www.superwebcam.com) for a while but i was having way to many blue screens of death on average one to four a day. If anyone could reply as to why that is it would be greatly appreciated. So a few hours of reaserch and with a little help from Google payed off well. My final result was ManyCam!

I have founed that ManyCam is much different from other virtual webcams in many ways:

1. GUI - The graphic user interface of ManyCam is very unique in that anything you want you can easily find without hours of dropdown menus.

2. Desktop capture - Now this feature is very important to me for when I do online instructional videos (that include viewing websites) and I dont want to edit the video, I just want a direct uplad to Youtube. The only problem I have founed with the desktop capture is if the screen saver comes on Vista automaticaly shuts down, almost like a BSOD, except without the blue screen.

3. Blank Image - This is a very simple, yet nice feature all it does is display a black screen for the webcam. I have yet to need to use this on the live stream, but atleast I have it if I shall need it.

4. Clock - This is another feature that I cannot find on any other free virtual webcam software. All this feature does is put a cool little 24 hour or 12 hour digital clock over your webcam.

5. Backgrounds - Watch the video above for this one!!!

6. Drwing on video - This is a great feature if you want to hi light something for your audience or just write a handwriten message.

The only problem I have with the features is that there is no picture in picture feature like the one in Super Webcam, otherwise this is a great item!

@everydaynightlove From when I had manycam, There was an option to turn the many cam water mark off in the corner. I haven't used many cam in ages though so you have to look for it in the settings.

uhm if i download the manycam, will it effect other webcam sites. Like, if i got to camroid or seenly to take pictures, will it show manycam.com on the bottom of the picture?
