McCain is past his sell-by-date.

I have nothing against him personally and respect his military service but what an atrocious display of ignorance...the thing that really amazes me is that so many Americans actually DID vote for him.

This is the #1 reason why the Republicans lost in 2008. They ran a horrible campaign with a bad candidate. The American People do not want Liberalism Light they want a second option. The Republican Party needs to return to its Conservative Roots of: SMALL GOVERNMENT (unlike Bush), Fiscal Responsibility, Tax Cuts, Strong National Defense, Free Market Solutions, and Individual Responsibility. No pale pastels, but BOLD DIFFERENCES!

Better reasoning easily comes from military duty. If your impying that military men and women dont have reasoning above and beyond the usual US citizen. Your crazy. This guy may have been a POW and served his country in Viet Nam that way, but his campaign has a lot of balls to blame Palin for losing the election.
