  • Thanks for posting this...the song hasn't been on YouTube since the jerks who own the rights to all her Ed Sullivan appearances yanked them.

Never one to blow her own horn, when she finished singing this on The Hollywood Palace she hosted in the fall of '67, during the applause you can just make out her mouthing the words..."I wrote THAT song" to the audience. Kind of sweet.

  • Unknow song from one of best english artist, a pitty course it's very good! Text and mucic is in perfect harmony!Love it

  • @HippyHaven You can get a CD release of "My Love" on Amazon....new or used....hope this helps.....

  • @plastiqueadapte I think the French version is the original one. It's very beautiful too.

  • @bopava I have this "My Love" album, too. Sad to say, the vinyl is pretty scratchy now and I haven't been able to find the exact album in CD format. I'm hoping someone will upload "Dance With Me" and several other cuts from this album. You mentioned Pet Clark saying she wasn't too fond of "My Love," and I must admit it was never a favorite of mine, although many of her other #1 hits are.

  • This is an album cut from what I feel is her best: "My Love". The title song and "It's a Sign of the Times" were the big single hits, but in my opinion "Just Say Goodbye", "I Can't Remember Ever Loving You", "Dance With Me", "Where Did We Go Wrong", "The Thirty-First of June", amd "Where Did We Go Wrong" are superior to the single releases, but taste is of course objective. I read a quote from Petula Clark that she never liked "My Love" which was her second US #1, ironically enough!

  • darn good..classy singer..sad no big hit here

  • you excuse, I do not find more to me the beautifulst song " to fly " " volare " sung from Petula Clark, c' it is someone that can replace kindly it in youtube? it appeals to me very many sung from Petula, more still that from Domenico Modugno. thanks many to who want to please to me.
