Not really...
I have some Guitars that are half size and I play on them just fine.
You should feel out a few Guitars first before you select "the one". ;)
Basically you should worry more about neck length, fretboard width, & how hard the tension of the strings are so you get a clear sound out of it as you need time to develop muscle power on the fingers to play on a high tension string Guitar. :/
So try first and wrist and fingers are more important than a Guitar "stance."

Only learned the Basic Chords Online the watched a lot of good Guitar Players and start making my own stuff.
Does not work for everyone, but worked just fine for me. ;)
