That's the problem it's "blended". this is a piano solo, and you should be hearing the Piano loud and clear. . The orchestra is supposted to only "accompany" him very softly in the background. The orchestra is jacked up so loud, that it interferes with ablility to clearly hear each of the piano's notes played. For example, you cannot hear the low end "boogy woogie" work of Liberace in this number because the Orch. is to loud and interf.. This is a good example of Improperly mixed sound.
Actually i would say that the piano and the orchestra are perfectly blended. if you ever listen to liberace play this piece alone, you would know why he wants the orchestra playing as loud as they do in places. perfectly executed.
