i put i louder much better exhaust on the truck and now she sounds like a muscle car, i love the beast

@draywanda yup, im swapping it from a single barel to a double so i can get more power, single barel aint good for these engines, they need to breath

Thing definitely sounds vicious. I'm jealous beyond belief. Now my 83 slant 6 powered beast is gonna sound bitch ass when i drive it tommorow.

@tommartyn yea she does sound pretty damn beast, im actualy currently swapping it from a single barle carb to a double should run better and have alot more power. and what are you making four wheel drive exactly :)

Sounds like it has a massive cam in the motor. Its got that lumpy sounding idle.

haha, my black 65 dodge dart :) thats the plan, but like alot of the field projects, it may never happen.

my truck has a 2bbl in it. but my 65 conv dart has a 1bbl and plenty of power. I read something about them using a different distributor with the 2bbl, for the spark advance curve to work well with the 2bbl. just synced up i suppose. but i'm sure without it would still have some extra power. I have a horrible computer control advance, instead of regular vacuum advance...

Same trans my 225 powered black 65 dart has in it. So we're thinking about throwing the tail shaft from the cherokee's A904, with the transfercase and all on it, on the dart, and putting a front axle on the dart, making it 4wd :) Thing would be insane!
