The song speaks her heart of how he still has feelings for the guy. "Don't leave me."
...The story is about a guy leaving her with little trust and understanding of what she has to go through to take care of her sister, after her mom died. He does not believe her life story.
The beginning ..she gives him trust, happiness, ...her love. He gave nothing.
Anyway, ladies, if you give it to a guy too fast, he will second guess your character. Save it for when he really understands you.
