Does the vehicle run any hotter? Any sign of detonation or ping?

@HuntoPofthethree Richard Petty is a redneck...and he's done ok.
-
AWESOME!!! what MPG out that behemoth?
-
@JotaJotaHJ probably the gasoline got too cold from the outside air or the vacuum and couldn't vaporize fast enough anymore... did you have some heating on it?
-
actually, this sprang to mind, why dont you hook up a brass hosing of some type with holes drilled in it and bolt it to the inside of the engine compartment and from inside the vehicle, have a fire extinguisher attatched to it so in case of an explosion of the gas vapor cell youre making. put out the fire instantly. be safe not sorry :) keep us posted.

ok i ran my weed eater motor off of gas fumes and ran it for short time too and engien stoped runing nothing wrong with motor so i cheaked out the gas found that the gas was not as explosive someone told me that it was the octain that actully ran the motor and that was that no more vapors can this be true

Great video :-)

ok buddy, youre on the right path but always keep in mind that an engine will at some time misfire and the spark could trace its way back to the fuel cell and BOOOOOMMM!!!!!! AND POSSIBLY YOU ALONG WITH IT! seriously, look up hho generator backfire arrestors and how to make them, they could save your life.

The part you need know know about is using vapors directly pulled from the tank with air will use just as much gas. A true vapor system needs to be enclosed with no mixed air / oxygen until it reaches the cylinder.

you are doing this on a stock cam and timing? i would be worried about detonation and burnt valves without some inside adjustments
well mate it look like that fuse is a bit funny it just doesn`t look like fuse at all.and if you rev engine you would get backfire as you need richer a/f in higher revs and that vaporiser cant give it to you..and if:you still had some fuel pressure in fuel lines.make longer video to see if you can idling for 5 minutes on fuel vapors.

@jozefchrenko it is a fuse if i would of left it in there the truck would flood itself out and then it wouldnt run i am driving this truck right now with it on there and i get 100 mpg no joke ill take another video when i get a new cam my old one broke
