  • sir did u use any resistor or something to limit the input current

  • @Roh1290 There is enough resistance in the secondary windings of the transformer I picked. To all the naysayers this light has been illuminated for years and still works perfect.

  • Nice job guy & thanks for sharing it. As a desk item, I want to illuminate from the inside, an old 1950s hood ornament that was made for a light. I think it would take 2 or 3 super bright LEDs powered by batteries if possible. AA to 9v doesn't matter. If so can you recommend a site for 'electrical dummies' that might show a diagram for the proper way & necessary parts to do this? Would I be better off just using parts from an LED flash light? Thanks!....( you know your going to get questions)
