This is a little Christmas poem I put together featuring some of my paintings from the Dreamscapes and Emotions series in the online gallery on my website.

The tune to this piece is called Is He Home which belongs to one of my songs of the same name. It's played here by a lovely pianist named David Moscoe.

The poem has since been put into a song which you can here at http://www.cdbaby.com/donnaw3

Hope you enjoy it.

Warmly,

The Arty Autie,

Donna Williams *)

  • thank you. thought of sending it to a bunch of rabid normalists who believe i must be merry. :) maybe not--but i can be joyful. :) :) :)

  • I know it's a little late to comment on this, after all, Christmas was about two months ago, but this poem is hilarious, and I mean that in a good way! BTW, Donna, if you're reading this, it's me, Spencer, the same one who wrote a couple of his poems on your blog page for poetry. I hope the fires in Australia have calmed down and that it's safe to live there again. I'm SO sorry you had to suffer through all that :( Also I've shown a couple of my friends "Not Just Anything" and they love it! :)

  • I like all the people in the pictures. I see them, understand them, you know. As for the poem, I didn't know you met my children. grin. Your insites leave me unsure to laugh or cry. hmmm as if i had choices, grin. ha ha

  • Blessings to you! I sent this to all in my addy book! Made many of them stop and think! Most have no idea what it is like to deal with autism, but that helped! Thanks!

  • That was beautiful Donna. Thank you.

    Merry Christmas!!

  • Very nice! Thank you and Merry Christmas to you too!

  • This is a very nice poem, thank you for posting it! And the pictures and music is also great! Merry christmas from Norway!
