  • If I were to read one book on psychology, what would you recommend?

  • Very hard question. It depends on which realm of psychology you wish to study

  • I don't know the various realms, but I am interested in how children are raised, and what they go through in school etc.

I don't know what 'realm' that is, but that's sort of what I am interest in.

  • i made a video that is uploading now that is talking about it a bit. however, I would suggest John Holt, Alice Miller, AS Neill, and (arrogantly) my videos.

  • whoops I rated 2 stars when I was trying to press pause...

  • i don't know which one is worse. I figured that i am always so encaptivating that no one could pause me.

  • Socialization= happy slaves

  • I think when people say 'school teaches social skills' they are actually saying 'school teaches how to be a slave'.

  • i wish there would be more people that think like you.

It's nice to hear people with same ideas.

  • I LOVE how you talked about only doing what's in ur best interests. But ur kinda presenting a false dichotomy too: you either learn to tame lions or else avoid them. There's a third option of learning to be socially valuable, so that it's the other people who want/need to fit in with you. These personalities are inherently good natured (because others like people they can get along with) and they bring out the best in lions, as well as gaining any underlying social benefits a lion might have.

  • Awesome video.

  • Well put aaron. You're a breath of fresh air out there. STill love your stuff. You present an idea so well.

  • "Education, the great mumbo-jumbo and fraud of the age, purports to equip us to live, and is prescribed as a universal remedy for everything, from juvenile delinquency to premature senility. For the most part, it only serves to enlarge stupidity, inflate conceit, enhance credulity and put those subjected to it, at the mercy of brain-washers with printing presses, radio and television at their disposal." -- Malcolm Muggeridge

  • "Happiness is not for wild animals, who can only oscillate between apathy and passion. To be happy, even to conceive of happiness, you must be reasonable or (if Nietzsche prefers the word) you must be tamed. You must have taken the measure of your powers, tasted the fruits of your passions and learned your place in the world and what things in it can really serve you." -- George Sanatayana
