In 2002, the Washington state legislature passed a law that would require all hospital emergency rooms to provide emergency contraception (aka: the morning after pill) to victims of rape. Physicians, nurses and other heal care professionals who work in emergency rooms are now required to violate their conscience, formed by their professional, ethical, moral and religious views. Dino Rossi voted for the bill.
