This is a short film we, The Faith Bus, did for the 2nd task of A21 Apprentice.
Was shot in Liverpool Street station with some help of a few more people (see credit at the end).
A21 is a charity set up to fight against human trafficking in the 21st century (see website http://www.thea21campaign.org/ for more details)
The songs used are Fljótavík and Straumnes by Sigur Rós.
The meaning of the song lyrics:
We look over the rudder
Cut off the sea
We sail by the mast
Stretch the sails
We steer towards the bridge
We sail ashore
Up on the large rocks and the sand
We wade ashore
What a mess
Yeah!
There I found myself
Endlessly thanking
Sheltered in a makeshift house
And we slept
As the storm died down
So if you weren't aware already, slavery still exists in 21st century and it's every where you look.
It can happen to someone very close to you before you know it.
It's time for us to SEE, KNOW, STOP it and DO something about it.
The Faith Bus
