Richard & Linda with band performing 'Crying In The Rain' in Hamburg, Germany in 1980 (Rockpalast broadcast). Linda is wrong because the song is written by Howard Greenfield and Carole King. In 1990, the Norwegian pop band a-ha covered the song. Following its success, a-ha became closer to the Everly Brothers, who had originally recorded the song. They were each presented with a set of guitars by the Everly Brothers that a-ha continue to use (Hmm..?).

  • Peter and Gordon did a nice cover of this in the mid 60s,too.

  • But F & B Bryant wrote "Love Hurts". Oh well.

  • Not buried yet, nor are the two Americans who actually wrote it..

  • The woman at the beginning is Richard's ex-wife Linda..Still a great song by 2 of Britain's buried treasures. Both are brilliant.

  • The woman speaking at the beginning of the video is incorrect on the writer of this song. This song was not one of the Everly Brothers' songs written by the Bryants as she indicated. This one was written by Howard Greenfield and Carole King.

  • I'm surprised RT didn't correct her. In his jolly manner of course.

Great cover. I love it when they sing together.
