See hundreds brave the chilly sea for a quick dip on Christmas Day 2009.
Don't let the blue skies deceive you, the air temperature was was only around 3C and the pavements were still slippery after an overnight frost.

How is the boat so close in? Seems a bit restrictive for the mad swimmers. Mad swimmers should not be restricted, they are a rare species. In spite of the fact that 300,000 turned up for this. ;¬)

Such an amazing experience! We've not had Christmas day sunshine like that for a few years in Exmouth! I agree - we should rally around more folk for next year, I don't want to be able to find my towel in the crowds next year! :)
