Texas Horse Rescue - Warning Graphic Footage

Forty three horses were rescued off a property in Lindale, Texas after authorities served the owner a seizure warrant. The Humane Society of the United States and other local animal agencies worked with law enforcement to remove the animals.

that is sick. did anyone find out who was suposed to be resposible for this herd? they were so calm and trusting dispite what theyve been through. thanks so much for helping out this herd

i would love to have a wild horse rescue when i"m older and wonder if anyone has any idea how to start one and be sure the wild horses get enough food ..... on western range land.....

might have longhorns too on the same wild range land...... and want know how they could be supported by mostly grazing land...... i know its possible just have to figure out the science of it all to ..... make a successful wildlife reserve

How can people be so cruel and ignorant? How can they just leave them out there suffering and dieing? If I lived there, I would have walked right over to the owner and punched him in the face, no matter how much trouble I got in. Then I would have taken every last horse. This is just so incredibly horrible that they had so many, and that so many died. And they were so nice and trusting. But thank God that they are safe now.
