Just finished reading this book, and as a lifelong fan of Stephen King, I think this is his best so far. He understands the human condition better than any other auther today. (In my opinion). p.s. Dale Barbara Rocks!!!!.

This man once called himself the "burger and fries" of the literature world. I have to disagree. He's the world class steak cooked by Marco Pierre White and served in a 5 star hotel of the literary world.

@redflags420 He had the idea well before the Simpsons movie you fucking retard

@Trascist I agree, I'm 13, and I have been reading Stephen King novels for almost two years. My favourite so far is It. :)

I'm sixteen and King is my favorite writer. Be happy, this generation hasn't completely discarded good literature.

@Bromden75 I agree. I'm currently reading 11.22.63, and I'm being completely blown away. I love The Stand, but Under the Dome and 11.22.63 (so far) are better to me. Maybe because their newer, or they appeal to me more, but I love them. Not that I don't love The Stand, I do, but not as much as Under the Dome.

@tkatbrown I liked what happened to his character though.
Big Jim disliked this.

I am SICK AND TIRED of people comparing this awsome book to the Simpsons movie. The only thing close to the book and the movie is the dome part. U don't no what caused the dome in UTD untill later in the book, but u learn in the begining of the SM what caused it, and the UTD book has no characters escaping the barier. unlike in the SM, the simpsons escape through a sink hole. Also, in the SM, the dome was from the government. Lastly, King thought of this in the 70s but didnt use it intill later!
