this is a darn good list . every single one of these wrestlers living or dead , had something that many people seem to over look and that is chemistry with who ever they were partnered with . that is something you can not and i will repeat , can not teach because you either have it or you don't , and it does not surprise me at all , when sting was asked back in 2004 on his opinion on ric flair , sting could literally go on for hours about how great he is .

michael ps hayes, arn anderson, chris benoit, stiener brothers, von ericks, barry windam, cactus jack, etc just a few that should have been in there.

@Sanguiluna They had wrestling companies in those country's so people were better informed. What I mean is nobody would have heard of it in places like South Africa or Sweden, Indonesia you know places that knew nothing about wrestling except for wrestling in the olympics and stuff. That is until the marketing campaign that was Hulk Hogan. Mexico and USA are right next to each other and Japan just copies everything America does (baseball) so you can't use them as an example for world fame.
-
@me31669 "Nobody much outside of America really knew anything about or anyone in wrestling until Hulk Hogan got famous."
Not true. El Santo and Blue Demon were national heroes in Mexico, and in Japan, Rikidozan, Antonio Inoki, and Giant Baba were well-known wrestlers. All those guys were wrestling before Hogan became big, so wrestling was already popular in certain countries outside of America before the 1980s.
-
@Sanguiluna Wrestling didn't begin with Hogan and especially not Austin in America but world wide it did lets face it. Nobody much outside of America really knew anything about or anyone in wrestling until Hulk Hogan got famous. However there is an exception to every rule and that exception is Andre the Giant and Killer Kowalski was more widely known than most of the champions believe it or not.
-
Yeah pretty good list but lets face it Hogan is number 1 whether you loved him or hated him, and he was pretty damn good at making you do both.

You probably just pissed off alot of fans with your 10-11 pick, though you probably would've pissed just as many people off if you had switched them. lol
And as much as I respect Flair, I still think Thesz is the greatest. The last TRUE Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion in history (Jericho doesn't count because of the NWA title). That's worth a lot.
And don't worry about the haters: they probably don't know half the legends on here and still think wrestling began with Hogan or Austin.

This is completely racist, where are the mexican, japanese and european wrestlers?

This list sucks

This is the Best one of these I have seen. Only ones missing would be Gagne, Bockwinkel and Brody. I would rank all of them higher than Piper and Jerricho but very solid effort. Oh yeah Jack Brisco and Dory Funk
