  • @roflswamp6 ... to get into flamenco you need to understand what ´el cante´ and ´el baile´ is ... Understand how the rythm can be modulate ( i´m no talking only about the 12 times, but about how it really works ) ... Understand what ´aire´ means. Look for some videos of Moraito Chico where he sings and dance and try to connect it with how he plays and you will see things in other way. You will discover another, deeper, face of this music. It takes time to understand this ... Greetings

  • @HJF091173 now that you put it that way maybe I should embrace your knowledge because im trying to get into flamenco. any suggestions to some of pacos other songs? I feel like im missing something here and argueing back isnt going to help me. may I ask what I should do to better get into flamenco?

  • @roflswamp6 i understand ur point. It makes sense from your point of view. It´s just, from a flamenco point of view, things are different ...

  • @roflswamp6 of course U disagree. U know music in general, U dont know particularities of flamenco. It´s normal you have those opinions. I have been brought up in a flamenco family, in the south of Spain that´s why i appreciate nuances you don´t even imagine. 4 your ears, real flamenco players sounds rough. you prefer ´classic´-like players. For mine, ´aire´ rhytm etc re main. Sound comes afterwards. For us, flamencos, if you have no ´aire´ it´s unmaterial how good your sound is.

  • @HJF091173 I disagree completely, paco can play mozarts music and sound like paco, his tone is odd. pacos seguiriyas arent my favorite either grisha has more feeling in his playing I like his tone better his finger nail length is probably why but whatever it is I like grisha better. I listen to riqueni, nino ricardo, sabicas, gerardo nunez, carlos montoya, and I still dont like pacos tone as much as I do several other flamencos. its scratchy and I dont get the same feeling that I Get from grisha

  • @roflswamp6 Obviously you don´t know what sounding flamenco means. Is not a matter of what not, but how you say them, with in the rythm.. Paco can play Mozart´s music and will sound more flamenco than Grisha playing seguiriya ... Girisha just has not lived the flamenco experience, he only plays the guitar, very well, but his guitar has no ´flamencura´... Can not be evn compared...

  • @HJF091173 I think this guy is alot more flamenco, paco sounds too jazzy now. he used to be good but not anymore es pura technica pero no tiene duende. se le apago su fuego que tenia

  • @roflswamp6 and if Grisha is better than paco why most that Grisha plays is Paco's music?? how can you think that Grisha has a better technique than surely the best flamenco guitarrist of the flamenco history? it's realy funny your coment jajaja ( sorry for the bad english ) xd look for farolillo de feria, I don't think Grisha is able to play that how paco does but it's you opinion jajajaja

  • I think grisha has much better tone and a cleaner technique than paco and sure he hasnt played with cantaores like pdl but I enjoy listening to grisha play much more than I do paco, and I enjoy watching him play more too Grisha>paco

  • He looks so cute in a hat!
