Denial - A Jick Story [Ch.1][INTRO]

The Jonas Brothers consist of the following 3 people:

Joe (20)
Nick (18)
Kevin (23)

Their parents, Denise & Paul Kevin snr, passed away in a tragic car accident a while back when Nick was 12.
Nick, Joe and Kevin were in the car with them at the time of the accident but fortunately for them, the impact had only really been at the front of the car where their parents were sitting.
The Jonas parents were kind, loving people who raised their sons to be the same way. They taught them to accept others and not to be judgemental.
6 years back, Denise & Paul decided they wanted to adopt. At the time, they only had their 2 sons, Kevin (17 at the time) and Joe (14).
They figured it was a good idea since Kevin and Joe always claimed they wanted another sibling and Denise & Paul had always considered it anyway.
Denise & Paul decided they didnt want to look for a certain child (eg. girl/boy, young/old). They would just go with whoever touched them the most. [a/n LOL! not in that way -.-]

*At the adoption centre*
Denise: Aw, honey. Look at them all!
Paul: Yeah *smiles* Hmm.. where do we start?!

They looked around at all the children there. There were so many kids scattered around the place. It seemed impossible to choose just one.

Denise: *sighs* Im stumped.
Paul: Lets go outside for a bit..

They walked outside, ready to sit down and discuss what they were going to do, until..

Denise: Oh my.. Honey, listen!

Nick was sitting alone outside, singing softly to himself. He looked so withdrawn and innocent. There was such a vulnerability about him that was so special to them. They just couldnt look away.

Paul: *Amazed* Wow..hes something special.
Denise: *Still staring in amazement*
*Paul nudged her lightly*
Paul: Honey? Denise? Yoohoo?!
Denise: *whispering in amazement* If hes not ours, i dont know who is
*Paul nodded and smiled in agreement*
Paul: Wanna approach him?
*Denise nodded*

And so approach him is what they did..
