I MUST SAY THIS IS ONE OF THE EASIEST BOBBLE VIDEOS I'VE SEEN,BUT IT'S TERRIBLE TO WATCH THE WAY IT WAS SHOT.OTHER THAN THAT IT IS THE EASIEST.

THANK YOU so very much! This is exactly what I was looking for! Clear and concise...perfect.

Thank you for this understandable and delightful video! I appreciate that you went slowly enough for one to clearly see what you were doing and that you explained what might seem obvious to some (for instance, count your stitches--had to learn that one the hard way! )
For some reason, I like bobbles--they're just cute!--and now I can go make some. Thanks for your video!

I I want to try to knit a scallop baby afghan. The first 13 rows are a combination of K and P. Then in row 14 and 15 (P4,WYB slip 3, (K3, WYB slip 3 accross to last 4 sts, K4. Next row same except Pearl and WYF. Next 2 rows are K one row, P one row. Row 18 is the one I don't understand. K5, *insert right needle under loose strands and knit together with next st, K5; repeat from * across. Next row is P.
Then the bobble row. Do the loose strands have to do with the scallop? What loose strands?

Thanks for the clear explanation. Good to see it in with other stitches.

@art4kidsbooks Thank you! :-)
Thank you soooooooo much!! I was starting to get frustrated because after watching five videos, I was just as confused as I was before I watched them. I clicked on your video to give it "one" more try and FINALLY I have made a row of bobbles!! If I could hug you through the computer screen, I would!

I'm new to knitting. What's a bobble used for? Just to fluff up / decorate a piece?
DavSnow 1 year ago
@DavSnow Yes, it's just to add decoration.

I want to learn how to knit... my mother was always knitting when I was a little boy (she even had this funny machine that would supposedly make it faster for you LOL)...

You should give it a try, it's a lot of fun. There are lovely knitting machines out there. I've never tried one though.
