Ford Windstar Engine Blows Up (Cash for Clunkers)

Turn the volume up!!!! This was done to cause "severe internal engine damage caused by running the engine with a sodium silicate (liquid glass) solution instead of oil". This is what happens to the vehicles turned in under the governments CARS program (aka cash for clunkers). A connecting rod broke through the back of the block and the oil got onto the hot cat. converter and caught fire immediately after the engine stopped.

My truck was ineligible due to age. So when all these newer SAFER vehicles were traded in and destroyed it only left the older BIG vehicles and new small ones on the roads.

Way to make the roads safer dumbasses.

i know the cash for clunkers thing is good and all, but doesnt it seem better to get more of a use out of an oder car that runs fine, then to destroy it and get a new car even with the help from this program? im never going to do this to my truck even when it does get old. id rather trade it in, and have it put to better use while its still got life in it then to destroy it.

Obamas better idea for change.. what an ignorant dipshit... a perfectly good vehicle someone could have traded in an older car in for something safer, cleaner and probably better on emissions than what they had. Of course, that wouldn't satisfy the billions needed to 'jumpstart' the auto industry without saying we were giving them a lump of cash to bail them out. @ferretbri sounds like what i did but i was told to do it to a 94 M edition miata it ran fine had 65K on it an old lady was the owner she died and her kids sold it to cash for clunkers everything was fine the only thing is it didnt have a key but that was a really easy fix but i told my boss the engine was blown and the bought the car for $100 i got a title for it inspected and registered and showed up in it a week later i got fired that day lol

Well. Its also the costumers stupiditys fault too. Why would the costumer want to trade a good running van to get him/her self to DEBT again. Now thats stupid, This Obama is bad, BUT on the other hand he THOUGHT people were gonna trade in their TRUE clunker! Like a beat up 83 van. Thats what Obama was MEANT to think this would be.
