  • Hey man I have a few questions about this can you holler at me. I'm a big fan of jLime and the company i work for sells these machines so I've tried jLime on all but the nanopad, since i've never seen one of those. But I briefly experimented with it, I have some questions.

  • @HecTron3000

If you have some questions, head to #jlime irc channel on freenode.org. I'm hanging out there as well.

  • Maaaan i need this GNU/Linux distribution! can you help me? the description link is dead!

  • I've updated the links

  • @ZearPL Thank you very much! i'm downloading the distro now.

But the three files together are almost 300 MB, You made it run on a Jornada 720, which has 32MB of RAM & Storage, so, what's the size of the CF Card you used? I want to know, so i can buy one!

    Thank you!

  • They're all different versions of the distribution. You should choose only one of the files.

The version "j7xx-icewm-devroot-051908" is the newest, so you should use this one.

As for a CF card, it should run on 256+MB cards, I use a 2GB one.

  • Did they do a Mips version for the Mobile Pro 7x0 line? I have a 770 and its a slick system as well. Just not easy to find software for a PDA its age. I have a Game Boy Color Emulator that runs pretty well, just needed to have the sound optimized, but developers have ADD when it comes to any computing device. While the MP770 definitely has the muscle for 8-bit console emulators, they only reached the early stages before the newer Pocket PCs and MP900 came out, so the MP770 port was forgotten.

  • @ZearPL Excellent, Thank you very much bro.

  • It's "Wicked's distro". Sadly it isn't being developed anymore.

The official site is down, but I've mirrored it .

I've added the link to it in the video description.
