wrong sir, the last throw, if applied wrong could not break a neck. It could certainly bruise a throat or spine but not any serious damage. you have to put quite a bit of pressure on the base of the neck in order for it to break.

Anyway... i think what he forgot to mention is, that, whenever possible, you should face your enemy. Standig with you back to the bad guy is a bad idea in a street fight. Therefore i'd prefer the first techniques.
