I loved South Indian food. I grew up in Sumatra, Indonesia where there was a sizable Tamil population in my home town. I loved their curries and breads. Reminiscing the past, this is a recipe for a Spicy Chicken Chettinad from the the region of Tamil Nadu in Southern India. Its very spicy and hot, great for the cold winter season. To reduce the spiciness, one can use less chili or use mild chili. Eat with steamed rice, nan bread, chapatti, apem, wheat bread, sourdough, baguette, bhanmi, couscous, etc. Chase away the burning sensation from your mouth with a glass of gin and tonic on the rocks. Now that's what I call a complete meal!
