This live show is from December of 1993 (and I was terribly young myself).
It started as a public access cable show earlier that year. There were about 14episodes that aired in 1993. There was a voicemail number posted after each show that encouraged viewers to leave their mailing address (there was no email or internet). After about 14 TV shows, I sent out invitations to the live version in West Hollywood. The shows sold out and continued into 1994 with no advertisements.
Thank you! This was one of the very first live performances that was entirely improvised and no one including Barbra knew what was going to happen from moment to moment. The crowd was incredible and the whole experience was a crazy "high."
