1983 Harley Davidson Shovelhead kickstart and first ride

Kick starting my Shovelhead for first start and ride of the season. Cleaned plugs,set and cleaned points. Serviced K&N air filter and cleaned delorto 40mm pumper carb. Love those drag pipes and the noisy solid tappets and chain primary.

Loved that shovelhead art,I used to ride all the time,I had 5 motorcycles,my last one was a chopper.Just decided i'd better quit riding before i got killed'Lol!I miss it though-Jerry

@arthurleino Atleast you still ride! Many guys would let a knee issue keep them off their rides. Im not a big dude so I have to do a sort of jump + kick hahaha

Very nice FX...mine is chain/chain also. Mine was born an FX but put a FLH front end on it...I just posted mine, check it out. SHOVELS RULE!
