Today, it is hard to come across a Tibetan family that has not had at least one member imprisoned or killed by the Chinese regime. According to Jigme Ngabo, "after the suppressions of 1959 and 1969, almost every family in Tibet has been affected in some way".

the dalai lama was in his teens during 1949 when the CCP entered eastern tibet (kham) illegally. from 1949-1959 the dalai lama and his ministers had many talks with mao to come to a mid-ground. in 1959 the dalai lama was adviced to flee tibet by his ministers. he was in his 20s when he reached india in 1959.

60% of tibets population were nomads. that is why tibetans are called Nomadic people. how can nomads be slaves? please dont make up fake statistics to mislead people.
