Waterfall Subdivision Irmo SC

The Waterfall Subdivision is located off of Broad River Rd. in Irmo, South Carolina. It is reached quickly via Interstate 26 by taking the Peak Exit which is Exit 97. This neighborhood has a beautiful entryway with a stone waterfall. This entry is also nice and long separating the homes from the main road and providing a great place for colorful flowers in the spring and summer!

Waterfall has 174 homes that range in size from about 1250 square feet all the way up to about 2600 square feet. As you can see, the construction in this neighborhood is vinyl with some accents of brick. All of the homes here have either a 1 or 2 car garage.

The homes are organized in this neighborhood around a main loop called Whitewater Drive. In the center of this loop is a community park that is used by residents and maintained by the homeowners association. Let' visit the park....

This park is a unique feature of the Waterfall Subdivision. It is a nice natural area with benches, picnic tables and plenty of room for throwing a Frisbee or kicking a ball! There is also a unique play area for smaller children.

For convenience, there is also a back entrance to the subdivision onto Hopewell Church Rd which leads back out to Broad River Rd. Though this community has an Irmo address, it is in close proximity to the Ballentine and Chapin areas and the children that live here attend Lake Murray Elementary School, Chapin Middle School and Chapin High School These are all award-winning schools in the Lexington/Richland 5 School District.

As you can see, the residents of this community take pride in their homes. This is a nice, quiet neighborhood with plenty of trees. It provides the feel of a country home but it is still very convenient to Interstates, grocery stores, gas stations, drug stores and plenty of shopping!

-Newest addition to the Irmo/Ballentine area is this Super Walmart! Also brand new is the gas station, pizza hut, shoe store, dollar store, McDonald's, Chick-Fil-A and Sonic! This area is growing!!
