Scriptures are open to interpretations. Notice how I was trained by this cult in how to make anything sound reasonable. You can make anything work in your favor if you use your mind. Jehovah's Witnesses allow others to think for them.

Nice video. I think you should have added the Job references in there. After all the JW's should realize they must tell Jehovah not to regard birthdays like He did Job's or Abraham to regard birthday's such as Christs' just to name a few Job 3:1-7, John 8:56. We of course celebrate Jesus resurrection not His death. The pagans, Pharisees, etc. celebrated His death. Without the resurrection we have no life in us.

The same warning can be issued about eating & drinking. Some accused Jesus of being "a glutton and a drunkard", Luke 7:34. But regular eating & drinking per se is NOT condemned. Neither is eating & drinking at a birthday party.
You are being misled by robotic sameness with the GB.

There is no idolizing done in throwing a birthday party for a loved one.
If you still say it is, Why are Jehovah's Witnesses allowed to celebrate the day of one's wedding - gifts often presented?
An interesting detail is that the angels celebrated the birth of Jesus, Luke 2.

Ok, then stop all celebrations including, family gatherings, anniversaries, graduations, etc. The banquet house does NOT refer specifically to a Birthday. That Scripture compares the importance of observing certain occasions over others that are not appropriate at the time.
Yes, you do twist Scriptures to fit the WTS doctrines. The Bible does not state many things, but does it mean that it never happened?

CHRISTMAS IS NOT REALLY JESUS' BIRTHDAY.Read Matthew, Mark, Luke in bible about 2/3 of way through bible.They never give a date of his birth.Jesus never celebrated his birthday.HE DID TELL US TO CELEBRATE HIS DEATH at Luke 22:19.We keep his Memorial-Jehovah's Witnesses follow exactly what Jesus tells us. The bible says celebrate DEATH-Eccleciastes 7:1-8, verse 4,"The heart of the wise ones is in the house of mourning, but the heart of the stupid ones is in the house of rejoicing."BIBLE IS TRUTH.

@eternityandforever Everyone knows that Dec. 25 is not Jesus's birthday. Get one thing straight, Jesus did not say to celebrate his DEATH! He said to continue doing this in rememberance of him. What was it? To Repeat his death? The last supper was done on Passover, why? When Jesus was born, The angels in heaven began st sing! It was a celebration! Why? Do some research outside the Watchtower publications. Don't let the WTS blind you to be one sided.

@TheRealTruth1914 -On passover a sacrifice was eaten. On this passover, Jesus' life is offered-that's why we don't offer animal sacifices anymore. Daniel 9:27. Hebrews 10:10,"By the said 'will' we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time."John 6:51,"I shall give is my flesh.."1 Corinthians 10:16,"...is it not the sharing in the body of the Christ?"Hebrews 2:9,"suffered death, might taste death for every (man)." It's his DEATH we celebrate-NOT BIRTH.

@eternityandforever You are so brainwashed that it's sad. Did you notice the first sentence of the description of my video? As an ex JW with over 30 years experience, I can say that JW are one sided with their thinking and logic. You can not have a reasonable debate with them because they are programmed by their master, the Govering Body of men from Brooklyn. The sad part is, you are living a non realistic life and you want to ruin it for everyone who has a life to enjoy.

@eternity, You are missing the point. Why don't you celebrate the deaths of your former leaders? Russell, Rutherford, Franz? Because you would be idolizing them. You see, your logic is unreasonable. The Scriptures mentioned by you are applied for certain occasions. You are trying to use them as a norm. Why did Jesus drink wine? People get drunk with it. Do you get it? Everything can be bad if not used moderately. Your reasoning is the Governing body's reasoning, it has been implanted in you.
