RIP Steven Jobs. He was a workaholic who couldnt let go of his job even when it meant his life. This country (USA) suffers from a mental illness fed to us by politicians, the media and our competitive nature. Other countries (such as Europeans) dont have these problems and think we are crazy for all the hours we work
Hilarious, although I am watching this from the office on a Saturday morning.
Well being a work-a-holic does have its benefits. I have survived 1 hostile takeover and 5 layoffs at my last company and 2 layoffs at my current company.
@riverlioness Workaholics work more than they can afford. My mother is one. She works until she drops of exhaustion and rages and punishes the rest of us if we don't work as hard as her.
She never has energy and never gets much done. Its Thanksgiving right now and its the hardest I've worked all semester, going full time to engineering college and part time work.
Workaholic is a disease and I think you do not have it. You're lucky.
Being a workaholic is something to be proud of. The symptoms are; more opportunities, meeting deadlines, being of value to others, great resumes, going above and beyond duty, and earning your wage.
