Nakajima tries on the Godzilla suit one last time

This short, 2-minute clip shows Haruo Nakajima putting on the Godzilla suit in 1983 for a photo shoot in a magazine called Uchusen. The suit is NOT the one used for Fake Godzilla and the ending shots from Terror of Mechagodzilla, but another one made in 1979 for Godzilla's 25th anniversary.
This would be the last time Nakajima ever donned a Godzilla suit.

Where was YouTube when I was a kid. This stuff is great. I looooved Godzilla when I was a kid (along with just about every other kid in the world). Thanks for the upload.

@JetJagga No,its 1983,because the biggest indicator is that nakajima-san held in one shot the very first 8-inch bandai godzilla action figure from 1983 thus indicating that the footage from 1983 so the source that you mentioned that it was '73 is innacurate just to let you know

IThe man in the blue shirt and sunglasses is the founding editor, Saki Hijiri, and the woman in the white shirt is Hijiri's wife, Jun Amemiya. The Godzilla is one of Toho's attraction suits from the 25th Anniversary celebrations in 1979.
I hope that I have solved the mysteries of this film for you, and thanks for posting this rare, rare film of Mr. Nakajima returning as Godzilla one last time in 1983!

I'm glad you liked it, I found it on Toho's region 2 Ghidrah dvd. I swear I heard somewhere that it was the 1973-75 suit and that the actual clip was from '73. I'll change the description and title accordingly.
It's great to here from the author of the Tsuburaya book. What a great tribute to one of the most underrated names in cinema.
