Richard L. Thompsons interest lies in the sacred texts of ancient India, and the knowledge they possess. He believes in the Vedic cosmology and the Vedic worldview. His book, Mysteries of the Sacred Universe, discusses evidence of advanced astronomical knowledge in Indias ancient texts known as the Puranas.
Richard was born in Binghamton, New York, in 1947. He has received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in mathematics, specializing in probability theory and statistical mechanics. He has since done research at the State University of new York at Binghamton, Cambridge in the U.K., and the a Jolla Institute in San Diego.
It's just possible that the whole idea of using Mercury to power a flying machine was designed as a trap. Anyone not part of the elite, with the desire, knowledge, and resources to do it, would start to work with the mercury, heat it, and pretty much destroy their brains in the process over time. If true, this trap was also used in the art of Alchemy for the same reasons.
