Hello there, what a stunning cat you have!

Anyway: I'm getting a bengalcat in a few weeks, and it's not easy to see what kind of pattern he will get thanks to his fuzzyness. But the breeder say that they specialice in jet black marckings, spots, wild expressions, and glitter. Can I e-mail you a picture of his fur (at 6-8 weeks) so you maybe can tell me what kind of pattern he will gett when he is older? If you don't mind...

The fuzzies don't really conceal the markings. You can tell if marble or spotted, dark or light, glitter, etc. I have a page on Bengal chatter on which I analyse Koru's kitten coat. I'll send that to you in a message

At what age does the glitter start to show?

I have a bengal in his fuzzies (10 weeks)but I was told he has the gltter gene but do not see the glitz yet.

Glitter shoudl be apparent as soon as they are done with the fuzzies. Unlike their pattern spreading over their first year, or eye color developing over 3 years, gillter should show early. many as soon as they are born you can see the glitter if you look really hard. Usually on the bridge of the nose or on the top of the head or paws. It does seem to become more evident as they grow.
